Irolita Books is a one-person operation. I collect only what I need to fill your order, I don't sell or share your information with anyone, and I don't use it for anything other than getting your book to you.

What I collect

When you place an order, I collect your name, email address, and shipping address. If you pay by credit card, that transaction is handled entirely by Stripe — your card details are never seen or stored by me.

If you send an inquiry through the contact form, I collect your name, email address, and whatever you write in your message.

What I do with it

I use your name and address to ship your order, and your email address to confirm the order and follow up if there's a problem. That's it. I don't send marketing email, I don't share your information with third parties, and I don't sell it to anyone.

Order records are retained for my own bookkeeping. Inquiry messages are kept only as long as they're useful.

Cookies

The site sets one cookie to remember your currency preference (CAD or USD) between visits. It contains no personal information and expires after one year.

Third parties

Payments are processed by Stripe, which has its own privacy policy. I don't use advertising networks, tracking pixels, or analytics services.
