Stories from the Vinyl Cafe
Toronto: Viking/Penguin, 1995. Later printing
Hardcover. 284 pages
Collection of stories from McLean's CBC radio show "The Vinyl Cafe" features peculiarly Canadian traits, like shopping trips to the Bay, and a character who worries about being a hoser. The cast includes Margaret Dwyer, a suburban housewife who startles herself by shoplifting a pepperoni sausage, and record store owner Dave, whose humanity is challenged by a $563.30 bill for a sick guinea pig. Some strong language.

VERY GOOD in FINE dust jacket.
Tidy gift inscription on fly leaf. No other writing/markings. Binding is sound and tight. Dust jacket has a couple of faint laminate wrinkles. Otherwise crisp and unworn.
